Complementary Angles VS. Supplementary Angles
Complementary angles are angles that when added together have a sum of 90 degrees .While supplementary angles are angles that when added together have a sum of 180 degrees. So in both instances you add angles together but complementary angles sum is 90 degrees and supplementary angles sum is 180 degrees . I van remember the difference in the two by using the alphabet . Because the C in complementary comes before the S in supplementary, just like 90 comes before 180 in numbers .This week in Geometry I learned what adjacent angles are , which are angles that share a common side and vertex but no interior points .
